SUSTAINABLE HABITS

Training — and life — takes dedication to routines that support healthy physical and mental development. But how do we build routines that actually work and that we can stick with? Willpower will only take you so far before burnout hits. For sustainable habits, we need to intentionally shape our environment to support and reinforce the behaviours we want to maintain. In this workshop, we’ll discuss strategies for building strong, healthy training habits that are realistic, sustainable, and achievable over the long term.

As Sustain Athletics, we respectfully acknowledge that we are guests on lands that have long been stewarded by Indigenous Peoples, many of which remain unceded. Wherever we are, we encourage our athletes to learn and listen from the native cultures of their area.

For Sustain Run Club, we enjoy the beautiful trails of the Syilx Okanagan NationOther Sustain Athletics activities are largely based on the lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and sÉ™lÌ“ilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Thanks, we'll get back you soon!
